Procter & Gamble Online Assessment Practice

P&G publishes more about its online assessments than most employers: what each one contains, roughly how long it takes, and what happens to the result. Here is what it says, which parts you can practise, and which parts nobody can copy

How P&G hires

P&G’s hiring process page covers internships and full-time roles together. You apply, you may be directed to one or more online assessments, and then come behavioural interviews of 45 to 60 minutes before an offer. The page is unusually direct about the stakes: for most roles, the assessment result automatically determines whether your application moves forward.

Twelve months is a long wait
P&G says you can retake its assessments after 12 months. Some sections are timed, the whole set runs 20 to 60 minutes depending on the role, and results come within 30 days. P&G also says it does not use AI in its online assessments. With a year between attempts, the first sitting is the one to prepare for.

Which assessments P&G uses

P&G’s assessment overview page lists several assessments, and the role decides which you get. P&G also publishes practice tests with example items for them, which are worth doing before anything here.

Peak Performance Assessment
About 20 minutes in four sections on your background, experience, interests and work attitudes, answered with multiple choice and rating sliders. P&G describes it as mandatory.
Interactive Assessment
About 30 minutes of reasoning, in three games. Covered in detail below.
Sales Virtual Job Preview
About 60 minutes, for sales roles that need experience. A preview of the job, then six exercises.
Plant Technician assessments
A Plant Technician Virtual Job Preview of about 25 minutes and a Plant Technician Peak Performance Assessment of about 20.

The Interactive Assessment: three reasoning games

P&G’s Interactive Assessment page describes three games. P&G does not name the supplier. But each description matches a game Aon publishes under its own name, one for one, and that is why this page treats them as Aon’s. Take that as a strong match rather than a confirmation from P&G.

Assessment #1, about 6 min
Solve equations by filling the gaps with the numbers 1 to 9, each used once, as the number of gaps changes. Aon’s digitChallenge, which Aon describes as a 6-minute numeracy task.
Assessment #2, about 6 min
Draw logical conclusions by picking the tube branch that reorders a set of symbols, with one correct answer. Aon’s switchChallenge, also 6 minutes in Aon’s description.
Assessment #3, about 12 min
Three rounds of about 4 minutes: remember where dots appear in a grid while answering mirror, rotation or combine and remove questions about shapes. Aon’s gridChallenge.

One figure does not agree. P&G gives about 12 minutes for the third game, while Aon’s own description of gridChallenge says 9 minutes and nine tasks. P&G is describing its own version, so plan for P&G’s number.

The rest of Aon’s range is on the Aon practice hub, and our guide to game-based assessments explains how this kind of test works. For the second game, our deductive reasoning guide covers the underlying skill.

What we cannot help you practise

The Peak Performance Assessment and the Virtual Job Previews are P&G’s own assessments as far as anything published shows, with no supplier named, so we do not offer copies of them. The Peak Performance Assessment asks about you rather than testing you, which makes honest, consistent answers the only real preparation. Our personality test guide explains how questionnaires like it are read.

The Sales Virtual Job Preview is the most detailed of P&G’s descriptions. After a preview of the job, it sets six exercises: Work with Customers and Colleagues (9 questions, about 12 minutes), Analyze your Business (8 questions, about 12 minutes), Manage Your Week (two sets, about 12 minutes), then three shorter ones of about 3 minutes each, What Drives You (25 questions), Tell Us Your Story (23) and Describe Your Approach (23). Audio in the exercises is also given as text. We do not simulate it. Our guide to situational judgement tests covers scenario questions in general, which is the nearest preparation we can offer.

Frequently asked questions

Does P&G use Aon?

P&G does not say. The three Interactive Assessment games it describes match Aon’s digitChallenge, switchChallenge and gridChallenge task for task, which is why we practise them as Aon games. Your invitation may name the platform; if it does, trust it.

Do internships and full-time roles use the same assessments?

P&G’s hiring process page describes one process for both, with the assessments depending on the role. The invitation tells you which ones you have been sent.

Can I see my score?

P&G says results come within 30 days and that, for most roles, the result decides automatically whether you move forward. It does not say whether it shares scores.

Are your games the real P&G assessment?

No. They are independent practice games built to the published formats of Aon’s challenges. They contain no real test items and are not supplied, reviewed or endorsed by P&G or Aon.

CogniPrep is an independent practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Procter & Gamble or Aon. P&G and Aon are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here for identification only. Process details come from pgcareers.com and test descriptions from Aon’s own practice page, read in November 2026; confirm the current process with P&G before relying on it.
